 Peter Truman
graduated cum laude from University of California,
Hastings
College of Law. His concentration at Hastings was in
taxation in which he
received numerous awards, including the American Juris
Prudence Award for Family Wealth Transfers.Mr.
Truman's experience is broad and includes the
successful
representation of disabled and older clients in their
efforts to obtain
public benefits, including Supplemental Security
Income (SSI) and Medi-Cal.
Prior to joining Gilfix & La Poll Associates, he
worked at an estate
planning firm in San Francisco's financial district.
Mr. Truman focuses extensively on tax and estate
planning. He greatly
enjoys the interpersonal relationships he establishes
with our clients,
particularly helping clients to understand their
options.
He develops practical, creative solutions to the
diverse tax and asset
preservation questions presented by our client
community.
