Sharing a musical moment
Adrian stands at that toybox for a good solid hour each day. He's ALL about standing up right now. Also eating paper. He gnaws chunks out of the spines of my paperback books. Crazy.
Big sound of the week is:
"NA-NA-NA-NA-NA"
I swear that last week he said, "Hi Mama!"
And Julian is having a developmental burst too. He completely undressed and re-dressed himself the other day. And learned how to use sarcasm perfectly.
We went to lunch at Dan's parents' house. Dan's mom gave us some beef stew to take home for dinner in a Tupperware container. Dan swears that it was closed tight as a drum.
He put it in the car, on the floor on the passenger side. Then he put Bugs in the back of the car and went back to the house to gather more items.
Big mistake.
When he came back out, I heard him shooing Bugs back to the cargo area of the car. "What are you doing up in front?" I heard him say.
Well, what Bugs was doing was eating all the beef stew. I don't know how he get the Tupperware open, but he did. And he ate ALL the stew. Rotten bastard.
When we got home, Dan turned off the car and we sat in the driveway for a moment. "Thanks, Doggie", said Julian.
"Why are you thanking Doggie?" I asked.
"Thanks, Doggie...for eating ALL OUR DINNER!" said Julian, with an exasperated air.
