The news segment airs tomorrow!
ABC Channel 7 news did an interview with me and Adrian a few weeks ago about EC. Should be interesting viewing.
It'll be televised on Channel 7 at 6PM (actually more like 6:20 or 6:40, says the producer) Wednesday, May 16.

UPDATE: I just watched the segment and it wasn't bad at all. My voice is kind of quivery from nervousness when I'm talking, and I use some er...interesting syntax when speaking (no doubt because there's a camera in my face and I'm being told to "act natural" constantly) but at least I got the message across. Overall it's a really nice piece!

Great segment, Laura! Makes us ECers look like reasonable folk, not crazies.
My only complaint is, they always seem to interview some "expert" who clearly does not understand what EC is! The head of Peds at CPMC said he felt it's better to do child-led potty training, not force it on the baby...but EC doesn't force anything on a child! (I think it's strange that it's okay to diaper a child without permission but putting him on a potty isn't kosher.) In another article I read a while back, the "expert" said there are better ways to spend the time with a baby than ECing. I'm sure he would never say "Don't change your baby's diaper more than once a day since it's not the best quality time you could spend with your baby."
Anyway, thanks for getting out the good word about EC to the masses!
